Children's Ministries: “Train up a child in the way he should go.” An important part of any church is its ministry to children. The church can never take the place of Godly instruction in the home, but it is a God-given aid for parents in helping them bring their children up in today’s world. Youth: One of the greatest investments a ministry can make is in its teenagers. An exciting youth program sparks excitement throughout an entire church. During the teen years the direction of a life is often determined, and a church has a responsibility to provide an avenue for God to be able mold these young people for His glory and service. Sunday School: The teaching of God’s Word is vital to the growth of His children. We have Sunday school classes for all ages that are designed to help each member of the class understand and apply the practical and relevant lessons that God has for us in the Bible. We believe that Sunday school is a great place to fellowship with others your age, connect with new friends, and draw closer to God through the discussion and study of His Word.

Men of the Word: Early in the morning once a week a group of our men meet for a study and discussion time as a means to encourage one another to grow in our Christian walk. A book is chosen, and a chapter is discussed each week.

Gentle Hearts: Our ladies’ ministry includes regular fellowships, activities, and retreats, as well as special opportunities to minister in many different areas. Our ladies are regularly involved in hospitality, encouragement, missions, and outreach ministries.

Outreach: Every church has a God-given responsibility to reach its community with the gospel. We believe that soulwinning is the key to building a church for the glory of God. Our weekly outreach ministry includes door-to-door and contact visitation, youth visitation, tract distribution, and a monthly ministry at the Macon Rescue Mission. Good gospel literature is always available to use as we spread the good news of salvation in our daily lives and contacts.

Spanish Ministry: With the explosive growth of the Hispanic community around us, the need to reach this group is greater than ever. Our desire is to use this open door to communicate the gospel and other truths of God’s Word to those who may not be able to grasp those truths otherwise.

Music: God-honoring music is an important part of any church’s ministry. Here at Berean we believe good music sets the tone and prepares the heart for the ministry of God’s Word. From our choir, to the special ensembles and soloists, to the congregational singing, we endeavor to lift up our Lord and inspire the believer to whole-heartedly serve Him.
